About
Phi Sigma Pi is a gender-inclusive, diverse National Honors Fraternity with the purpose to uphold three ideals. The first is the acquisition and dissemination of information and knowledge through scholarship. The second is the application of professional skills and the fostering of leadership qualities by promoting and advancing the welfare of humanity. The third is the fostering of a non-discriminatory, fraternal fellowship within Phi Sigma Pi. These three ideals support the ultimate goal of social service.
There are only a few requirements making one eligible to join. First, you must currently be enrolled as a UGA undergraduate student and have completed at least 12 hours of college courses. AP classes do not count as part of the 12 hours, but dual enrollment credits do. Also, any student wishing to join must have at least one semester left at UGA (not including summer semesters). The final requirement is that each student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
