HEROs at UGA

UGA HEROs is one of the largest student-run philanthropy at the University of Georgia. Over 1,000 students each year take part in a year-long fundraiser to support H.E.R.O. for Children, Inc, an organization focused on improving the quality of life for kids in Georgia infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS. UGA is engrained in the founding of HEROs—we were founded by two UGA students who saw a population of kids not being helped. As the only organization in the state working to improve quality of life for the kids we serve, we have seen the power of bulldogs of all stripes coming together to raise over $3M since 2005!
