Women in Media

Women in Media at UGA strives to foster a diverse community of women, all with interests in media. Our goal is to continuously support, guide and empower one another through our pre-professional organization, leaving a bold group of young women ready to excel in their respective fields. We bring awareness to current issues that women face in the media industry such as gender pay-gap, sexual harassment, lack of women leaders and more. Women in Media is here to create a safe space for our members to gain the knowledge and support they need to change the narrative.
